Conflict Resolution
The staff of the Eastern District recognizes that in every growing church, change can produce tension and even conflict. It's painful and messy. We'd like to listen, pray with you, and point you to resources that could help.
Please understand that our first questions will be:
- Have you talked directly to the person (people) around whom the conflict is centered?
- Are the elders/pastor aware of this conflict, and have you talked directly to them?
We are committed to working with the leadership of our churches to help them become healthy and growing. We can also connect churches experiencing significant conflict with outside conflict resolution and mediation support agencies.
