The Eastern District Women's Ministry Team is available to provide leadership training for women in ministry as we join with other EFCA women who are echoing God's heart across the nation with great RESOUND. Our emphasis is Jesus' methodology of making disciples that reproduce disciples.

Speaker - Sue Thomas is profoundly deaf. But nothing can keep this indomitable woman from living her life to the fullest. In 2002 the TV series, SUE THOMAS: FBEYE was released. Inspired by Sue’s unique job for the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the weekly drama helps to bring more awareness to the lives and abilities of those with physical challenges. Once a "secret weapon" for the FBI, Sue now testifies of the Cross of redemption and forgiveness. She stands before the church not as a celebrity but as a sinner that has been transformed by the grace of God. Today her heart's desire is "To go forth to every nation, to stand before every generation, to proclaim the love and forgiveness of Christ Jesus."

Speaker - Vicki Kensinger is an ordinary woman who has found that victory and abundant life come only in love from and service to Christ. She served along-side her husband, Bob, in youth ministry for nearly 20 years until Bob became the Sr. Pastor at Christ Evangelical Free Church in Strausstown. In this new role she loves opening their home, teaching and making disciples. She is the co-director and teacher at Circle K Camp, a summer camp focused on reaching “church kids” with a life changing relationship with Christ. She enjoys interior design, gardening and finding a bargain. Vicki and Bob have 3 children: Kristi, Bob and Nate who are each in their own ways joining in the Camp and Church ministries.
