Urban/Intercultural Ministry: CityServe

CityServe is a district ministry formerly known as UTOPIA in it's early development. The name CityServe better communicates the focus of this ministry which desires to impact our urban and intercultural churches and their communities with the Gospel in three ways:

First, CityServe recruits young adults to come and serve for one or two years in one of our urban or intercultural churches.

Second, CityServe recruits men who are interested in planting an urban or intercultural church. The missionary will spend two years with one of our seasoned pastors, ministering and receiving mentoring as he prepares to church-plant.

Third, CityServe works to develop partnerships with churches in the Eastern District where a suburban or rural church can mobilize some of their people to meet a real need in one of our urban or intercultural churches.
